Heat transfer vinyl and heat transfer sticker are both heat transfer materials. They are transferred on the fabric through high temperature. Then the question has come: how to distinguish them?

Today I will explain their difference.

First, about the color.

It is single color for heat transfer vinyl ( except printable heat transfer vinyl), however for heat transfer sticker, it can be colorful ,such as PVC Heat Transfer Printing. Their effect is different; printable heat transfer vinyl is used for printing and cutting, but for heat transfer sticker, it is produced by printing ink ( we call offset printing and screen printing).

Second, about the production time.

For heat transfer vinyl, it does not have to make the frame, from cutting the design to transfer imagine on the fabric, just needs within 10 minutes; but for heat transfer sticker, it needs to make the frame first, make the proof, print the ink etc. It needs 3-7 working days to finish. It is suitable for printing large quantity.

Third, about the eco-friendly issue

For heat transfer vinyl, it is produced by eco-friendly materials. But for heat transfer sticker, it is also produced by eco-friendly materials and ink . To some extant,it is more eco-friendly for heat transfer vinyl even though heat transfer sticker is also eco-friendly.
